August 3, 2011 - In a four-game stretch from July 31, Jamie hit three home runs, In the last 10 games he was hitting .357 with nine RBI and had three doubles in addition to the four homers. All of his home runs have been in home games.

July 11, 2013 - The headline is the same and the results are welcome as Jamie went three for four last night with two of the blows doubles. He batted in three runs to end a one for 15 slump in the last 10 games. The good night raised his average to .270. for the year and .297 for the last 10 games at Las Vegas.

May 26, 2013 - A 4-3-2-0 night broke up a slow "last 10-game hitting record" for Hoffmann. with the two hits hits 10-game average raised to .200. However, his season average still was . 293 after reach .319 a week ago.
May 19, 2013 - Heading into a series with Des Moines, Iowa he was holding tough on his .319 batting average and has appeared in 33 games. Jamie had 22 doubles to that point and generally is in the top five in the hitting stats. Las Vegas has fallen to last place in its division in the AAA Pacific Coast League.

Weds. April 3, 2013 - Hoffmann is one of three outfielders rostered with Las Vegas in the Pacific Coast League. Las Vegas first game is Thursday, April 4 in California.
Sun. March 24, 2013 - Week before opening day, NY Mets sent Jamie Hoffmann to their minor league camp. Jamie had one of his better major league spring training experiences, hitting .250 and playing in 23 games. Only two players played in more. He had three spring home runs and eight RBI with homers and RBI fourth on the squad. He struck out once for each hit.

Thurs. March 21, 2013 - No game. Weds. 2-0-0-0 vs Houston, split LF duty.

Tues. March 19, 2013 - Sunday (17) PH (0-1) and entered game in LF. (18) DNP. (19) No Game.

Sat. March 16, 2013 - Sat out Saturday but played in 16th game Friday and had one hit in two at bats entering in late innings. Now is 5 for 26 with five RBI and has two doubles.

Tues. March 12, 2013: As of Monday, Jamie is tied with one other player for the team lead in games played by Mets' players with 13 and has raised his BA to .191 with 4 RBI, five runs scored and a home run and double. He has played in 13 games.

Sun. March 10, 2013: Sunday he doubled off Eduardo Sanchez in the 9th inning to insure the New York Mets a 3-0 victory over St. Louis Cardinals. The double raised his average to .158 and RBI total to three. He also has a home run. He entered the game as the left fielder.
Sun. Mar. 3, 2013: In eight games, Hoffmann has two hits in 14 ABs, one a home run and has score twice. He has struck out seven times and walked once and is scheduled to start in right field in Monday March 4th's exhibition game. Met's Spring 2013 Stats

Thurs. April 6, 2012 - Hoffmann has been assigned to Norfolk, VA Tides baseball by the Baltimore Orioles. An opening day roster story posted today says Jamie will be one of four outfielders on the roster. Norfolk is AAA International League baseball. The Tides Game Site is linked. Jim Bastian of the Journal Wednesday interviewed Hoffmann and wrote this article. The Tides were to open their season tonight at Charlotte, but the game was postponed. Wednesday Hoffmann playing with Norfolk had hit, walk and K in 4 AB against Baltimore Orioles in \\\"exhibition\\\". He played left field.

Dec. 18, 2011 - Colorado has dropped two outfielders (perhaps just temporarily) by not offering contracts to right-handed hitters Cole Garner, 37, and Ryan Spilborghs, 32, leaving the Rockies with seven including left-handed hitter Tyler Colvin who batted .150 in 80 games last year and is a career .215 hitter. Hoffmann is not listed on the Depth Chart roster, but is on the active roster. In the next two days his present status could be changed. Dodgers have traded Trayvon Robinson from Albuquerque to Boston who traded him to Seattle who sent him to AAA Tacoma in the same league (different division) with Jamie Hoffmann, now only one of three on the Albuquerque roster. Dodgers got two outfield prospects in the deal. Robinson was listed as the No. 3 prospect in the Dodgers system. He has shown a whole lot of speed in the past. He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s always struck out a bit too much for a lead-off type, but he had been showing better plate discipline and stole 85 bases in 2009-10. A Pacific Coast League All-Star in 2011, Robinson flexed his muscles more and ran less, hitting 26 homers and slugging .563 at the time of the trade, both career highs, while stealing only eight bases.

The Albuquerque website report of the game said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Knotted at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth, Hoffmann engaged in a classic battle with Aces reliever Jason Urquidez. After taking a called first strike, Hoffmann fouled off two straight pitches to fall into a quick 0-2 hole. Urquidez then missed with two balls before getting the batter to foul off another pitch, keeping the count at 2-2. Hoffmann fouled off one more pitch and took one more out of the strikezone to work the count to 3-2 before Urquidez grooved a ball right over the plate that the slugging outfielder deposited over the fence in left to end the eight pitch at-bat and give Albuquerque a dramatic 3-2 win.

There has been flurry of activity by parent Los Angeles Dodgers who just two days ago signed Rochester\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Michael Restovich to a contract but assigned him to Albuquerque where he has been playing with Hoffmann. Dodgers did call up another OF and OF-1B from Albuquerque. Hoffmann has been hot in last 10 games, hitting .441 with 15 hits in 34 trips with five doubles, home run and .398 BA with runners in scoring position. His 10-day on-base-power ranking is 1.201 and his slugging percentage .676. He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s still rated highly by the Dodgers as a defensive outfielder. There were no major league transactions involving him as of early Tuesday night.

Of the five runs scored in the dramatic ninth frame, four were with two outs, and on four separate occasions, Isotopes batters were down to their final strike. The game lasted five hours and three minutes.

July 12,2010 - With the Pacific Coast League divisions idled because of the AAA All-Star game against the International League, the break finds New Ulm\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Jamie Hoffmann a ranking member of the Albuquerque Isotopes. He leads the team in games played (86), at bats (337), runs (55) and hits (103). His only error is the lowest amount the regular players. In addition he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s second on the team in doubles (24), triples (3), strikeouts (55), stolen bases (13) as well as being third in doubles (24) and walks (23). His current .306 average is among the team leaders. The team, however, has now fallen 4.5 games behind Oklahoma City in the Pacific Coast League South American division during a recent period of inadequate pitching. Hoffmann has been playing all three outfield positions and has batted anywhere in the top six spots in the order.

Tuesday, May 11, 2010 - Led off with single , then added single in sixth and another leading off in eighth inning for 5-1-3 night in 6-5 win at Colorado Springs.
Monday, May 10, 2010 - Lead off single to start game, bunt single in fifth. Came out of game in eighth inning after grounding to short. No reason reported but Albuquerque was leading 6-5 before losing 7-6 to Nashville. Isotopes head for Colorado Springs for start of eight-game road trip.
Sunday, May 9, 2010 - Triples and homers in going 4-3-2 with 4 RBI in wild win Sunday. Figured in all three Albuquerque runs in seventh to take 15-5 lead. HBP leading off in 7th and scored, then homered to left with two on in 2nd AB in Inning. 3R homer is difference. Nashville scored seven times thereafter. Average now .309.
Saturday, May 8, 2010 - With two doubles and a single in five AB, Hoffmann moved to a .302 batting average. Also scored run and drove one in during a 14-2 romp over Nashville.
Friday, May 7, 2010 - 4-0-1 as Albuquerque is shelled 11-1 by Nashville.
Thursday, May 6, 2010 - Hoffmann\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s pinch hit two-out single to shallow centerfield in the top of the 10th gave Albuquerque a 3-2 win over Memphis.

Sunday, April 18, 2010 - As Albuquerque cruised to 11-5 win, things went right for Jamie. Leading off and playing center, got a pop-up to fall for a double and then doubled to right in the ninth as average moved up again, now to .244.
Saturday, April 17, 2010 - Hit lead off and played center. 4-0-1. Left one runner scoring position, grounded into DP. Albuquerque lost to Omaha 2-0.
April 16 - Season BA down to .219. Hasn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t walked once yet in PCL games. Went 0-4 with one K, left 3 in scoring position, grounded into DP in Friday big loss to Omaha.
April 15 - Flew out batting for pitcher in 9th in 13-5 romp over New Orleans. Two outfielders and first baseman had four hits in game.
April 14 - Jamie Hoffmann got his first extra base hit of the season, a double in the early innings of a game against New Orleans tonight. Caught stealing and also picked off second later in game. Finished 4-0-1 as Isotopes won in ninth inning.
April 13 - Went 5-5-1 with 2K in 8-7 loss to New Orleans. Left 3 on with two out.
April 12 - Two hits in romp over New Orleans, played right field.
April 11 - DNP Sunday as Albuquerque won.

April 9 - Two hits in three AB plus SB, RBI and Hit by Pitcher in 9th inning in loss to Oklahoma City. Played right.
April 8 - Hoffmann batted lead off and was in right field for opener won by Albuquerque in 13 innings. Went 1-6 with two FC, two called strikeouts, one K swinging, and ground ball single to short. Did not leave any runner in scoring position. Restovich hit home run.
April 6 - Another Minnesotan has joined Jamie on the Albuquerque Isotopes roster in the Pacific Coast League. The Dodgers Monday optioned Michael Restovich of Rochester. Minnesota and at 6-6 and 240 takes over the team honors in height and weight previously assigned to Hoffmann. Hoffmann remains the youngest outfielder. Restovich played 135 games for Chattanooga in the International League last year, hitting .290 and 21 home runs. Originally was signed by the Cubs in 2005 an played some with Colorado and Pittsburgh before claimed by the Twins and then waived again to join Colorado.
April 4 - Hoffmann remains on Isotopes roster as one of four outfielders. Dodgers did not include him on opening day roster. Other outfielders include: all left-handed hitting Jay Gibbons, Xavier Paul and Timo Perez. Hoffmann is the youngest, tallest and heaviest of all. Paul is on the Dodger\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s 40-man roster as Hoffmann was last year. Isotopes begin play Thursday, April 8.
March 30 - Started CF for Kemp who DH\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'d. Single and double in four with RBI, walk, one strikeout. Left one on in 12-4 loss to Cincinnati (down 9-0 after two). Mostly regulars in lineup. Did get picked off first.
March 29 - Good game for Jamie. Officially 1-1 with RBI which came on sacrifice fly in three-run eighth inning. Also walked. Played all three outfield positions. Dodgers will play mostly reserves Tuesday in game with Colorado, Hoffmann did not play.
March 28 - DNP for Dodgers.
March 27 - DNP in Dodger\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s game.

March 25 - Made pinch hit appearance in ninth inning for Dodgers in 3-2 loss to Arizona. His fly ball down the left field line was run down with two men on as the Dodgers got both of their runs in that inning.

March 22, 2010 - After playing in an introsquad game Monday morning, Jamie Hoffmann has been sent back to the Dodgers\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' Isotopes farm team at Albuquerque by the New York Yankees for $25,000. March 20, 2010 - Pinch hit for DH Nick Johnson in eighth, stayed in game as DH as Yankees lost 8-6 to Houston.
March 19,2010 - JH walked three times, scored run following Jeter homer in 6-2 win over Detroit with C C Sabathia having great outing. Played center. Yank players included Jeter, Teixeria, Rodriquez, Cano, Thames, etc.

March 18, 2010 - The depth chart for the Yankees verified March 18 lists Jamie Hoffmann as one of five outfielders, He is listed behind Gardner and Winn in left field. Gardener is carried in Center and Swisher in right. Gardner and Winn are backups in center and right. Nick Johnson is the designated hitter of the verified depth chart. Jamie did not play in Thursday\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s 6-4 win over Tampa but the Yankees will play a pair of split squad games today. (March 18 Box Score)

March 6, 7, 2010 - Jamie Hoffmann went hitless in five weekend at bats. Three were Sunday March 7 against the Minnesota Twins as he left two runners on base, none in scoring position, however. He played right field in the 11-0 loss. Saturday he went into center to replace Curtis Granderson and went down in two appearances as Tronoton thumped the Yankees 9-1.
March 4, 5, 2010 - Got first Yankee hit in going one for three in a New York Yankee 3-2 loss to Philadelphia Thursday. Tuesday he was 0-2.
