NU St. Paul's Wins two 3rds in Annual Grade School Tournaments

The annual multi-state basketball tournament for Lutheran elementary schools was again scheduled at Martin Luther College with round-the-clock contests at the college site as well as MVL . NUSC has created convenient links (below) to make it easy to get schedules and results as they occur over the two last weekends in February. A final listing of scores and championships follow below.

Championships of four divisions in the large school weekend were being decided late Sunday afternoon with the third place and consolation titles being wrapped up. The smaller Lutheran schools in the Minnesota-Wisconsin-South Dakota mix will come to New Ulm next weekend.

Minneapolis Pilgrim won both the boys and girls titles for the bigger schools of the large school division. Mankato Mt. Olive topped the Division 4 boy's tournament. Bloomington Lutheran rolled to the Division 4 girl's title.

New Ulm St. Paul's won third places in the Large school's boys and girl's division school action in Sunday contests. Prairie of Fairfax copped the consolation Girl's Division 3 bracket and and also took third in the division 3 boy's competition.
