Sub-state 2 playoff pairings have been announced by Second District baseball director Vern Kitzberger.

The tournament opens Monday with a single play-in elimination game and follows with four games Wednesday. New Ulm is host to the Sub-State (district2).

NewUlm Gold is paired with sixth seed Fairmont in the first round. Gold was seeded third with top honors going to Mankato National (1), Jordan (2) and Mankato American (4).

Wednesday July 20 at Johnson Park:
10 am Game 4 Faribault/New Prague vs #1 Mankato National
1 pm Game 2 #5 Worthington vs #4 Mankato American
4 pm Game 3 #7 Sleepy Eye vs #2 Jordan
7 pm Game 1 #6 Fairmont vs #3 New Ulm Gold
