Farmington tops Shoreview 14-12 for 14AAA State title

Farmington captured the Minnesota Sports Federation's 14-year-old AAA championship game Sunday afternoon 14-12 over Shoreview continuing an outstanding display of run producing in two days at Johnson Park. St. Michael-Albertville blanked Pierz 10-0 to win the consolation prize.

Pool play Friday selected final eight participants for title games and another four for the consolation series. New Ulm was shelled three times and was not one of the surviving 10 teams.
