Head and shoulders picture of Steve Marquardt as 17-year-old player with New Ulm High School, American Legion and New Ulm Millers in spring and summer of 1959. Steve also provided a several other team pictures of that era. he went on to write sports for New Ulm Journal and became regional editor and spent final working years for newspaper at Hibbing, Minnesota and other Iron Range locations. Steve continues a great interest in New Ulm's athletic history. See object entry 1728 for image of Steve four years previously. |
