New Ulm Journal write-up of 1976 tournament in which Gene Stolt was the singles champion with a 714 with handicap score. Farmers Elevator from the Farmers League won the team title with a 3049 result.
Doubles honors went to Swede Dahl and Orville Olson for their 1,318 series. Carl Paa received the Fritz Aufderheide memorial trophy for his high actual single game of 258.
