Hard copy for Henry Ahrens who managed New Ulm baseball teams in the early `1900's. Was involved in the great ruse in game over Fairmont when he brought in the American Association's top battery out of Minneapolis to pitch against an unsuspecting Fairmont team. New Ulm bettors apparently did much cleaning up. He also was involved in a repair project for Hermann Monument. Four pictures apparently were once available showing him holding on to Hermann's sword arm high in the sky. |
