File on 1948 state catholic tournament hosted by New Ulm Trinity. St. Cloud Cathedral beat St. Thomas for the title. Trinity lost both games played Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Ray Tauer, president of the Trinity monogram club and secretary Roman Schnobrich made arrangements for stays in New Ulm and for feeding the players at Trinity. Phil Schaefer was representative of the Catholic association. Others involved included Everett Christensen, gate keepers and Bob Eichen, tickets.
