Other Information: Art Sannwald, who spent his whole lifetime in the Straightway League was admitted to the New Ulm Men's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1975. He retired as city clerk circa 1960. Retirement date is not noted in New Ulm Journal clipping. A New Ulm Journal article by a Jim Robbins reported his retirement after serving 27 years and six months. His first term as city clerk was won in 1932. This object is one of a number on leading citizen's who had sports affiliations in the New Ulm area. Sannwald was a long-time bowler who passed up being in the highest ranking City League because of his duties with Tuesday night city council meetings.
