| Other Information: | John Oldfield served as Dr. Martin Luther High School and College athletics coach in the early 1950's. At the time DMLC concentrated on basketball and baseball while the high school department stayed pretty much with the same focus. Portrait enhanced by John Hemmelman from group picture taken by Herb Schaper of New Ulm coaches with Ozzie Cowles of University of Minnesota (Object 882) at a New Ulm Club appearance in New Ulm of coach Cowles. The small image was improved with enhancing resolution to high degree but should be no problem for use with small size. |
