Other Information:	Oscar John Esser Jr., best known in New uLm and Gibbon as Johnny Esser passed away 2016 in the same week his grandson Sam Bradford was traded by Philadelphia Eagles to Minnesota Vikings. Sam had been a standout at Oklahoma and started for several NFL teams but had been bothered by injuries. Johnny played baseball in New Ulm where is father practiced medicine before returning to Gibbon while Johnny remained in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School. He also played baseball at Gibbon with Stan Wilfahrt, another New ulm Brewer transplant who coached there.
