Jim Aufderheide, an original co-founder of Community Research Technology and close advisor to the website New Ulm Sports Central, passed away Aug. 7 and his death noticed some time later in a newspaper advertisement from his wife Sylvia.
Aufderheide made contributions including technical advice for hardware and software for the programs which accumulated over 5000 items of sports history at the time of his death. There were just short of 2,500 images of documents and pictures which he was involved with saving to the files of Community Research Technology. He also shared items from his personal collections of pictures and history.
