Team sponsored by Victor P. Reim and was mostly made up of the players who were cut by the power perennial champion Esser's Bar team during early tryouts. Team had its season-ending dinner at the Colony Club as pictured around the table.
Also included with the prints and negatives is a team picture of everyone standing. L-R: Wayne Martin, Jack Minium, Ken Noren, Christy Hanson, Willie Clyne, Maury Ries, Virgil Goertzen, Doyle Schneider, Niel Reibel (?), Lyle Williams (unidentified) _____) Victor P. Reim, Herb Schaper. Victor Reim Jr. must have been the photographer on this picture. He is on the second version which does not include Herb Schaper who did photos for the Journal in those days. Ted Arndt is on second picture seated at table.
Incidentally, these photos were ruined due to bad developing but re-constructed beautifully by NUSC technical adviser Jim Aufderheide who also provided the digital renditions on a CD.
After all the work, the original negatives surfaced in Herb Schaper's Journal's sports photo file and have been added to this #4 file OIT. The original re-stored prints are in the #7 file.
