120 alumni contacted for Courtland baseball event

COURTLAND --- Over adlumni from Courtland's previous Tomahawk League teams have indicated interest in playing "an inning or two" Sunday, May 31st, as part of the observance of the community's Tomahawk League teams of the past.

The list will be paired to two teams managed by Marv Fiemeyer and Myron Fluegge. Fiemeyer and Willard Bode will throw out the first pitches.

Organizer Myron Fluegge has presented the roster of potential players to include those from the 50th anniversary team of 1966, those from the 1940 to 190 teams and a final group from 1985 to 1997 which was the last year Courtland had a team in the Tomahawk.
