New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

New Ulm 's Brewers topped the Sartell Muskies 12-3 in state amateur baseball action at Belle Plaine Saturday.

Brewers collected 16 hits and built up a 4-3 lead before opening up with five runs in the eighth to salt it away behind a 16-hit attack and error-less ball.

Aaron Pfaff with four and Garrett Fischer with three, the first two hitters in the lineup, had half of New Ulm's hits. The in-porgress line scor ehad given New ulm 16 hits earlier but that was changed in the final box score which can be viewed below

New Ulm now plays at Jordan at 11 a.m. Sunday against the winner of Saturday's Fort Ripley/Winsted game and would have another game at 5 p.m. if it wins in the single elimination tournament.
