Sobieski scored in the bottom of the eighth to take a 2-1 semi-final Class C tournament win and now will playe the New Ulm Brewers for the state championship starting about 1:30 p.m.

The final Sunday games at both Belle Plaine and Jordan are rained out and will resume Monday according to their post on the state baseball association tournament website.

The Class B semifinal between Cold Spring and Moorhead will resume at 1 p.m. in Belle Plaine. Cold Spring leads 3-1 in the top of the fifth. Moorhead is up to bat with no outs and no runners on base.

The winner will face St. Cloud Beaudreau’s immediately after for the Class B championship.

No admission will be charged for either resumed game, but after those games finish, both parks will be cleared and admission will be charged for the championship games.
