New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in the current 2015-2016 season is noting its 35th anniversary of basketball for boys and girls.
A large banner with the anniversary notation an dozens of basketball pictures "over the years" is fashioned into an appeal recognition for the participation of the many student athletes over those years.
Some games were started in girls basketball for first and second year students before the full inter-scholastic program began in interest.
People like Alan Stelljes and David Lindemann were volunteer coaches in those years for the girl's teams. Facilities at St. Paul's Lutheran school were utilized for
practice and some games.
