Creighton wins third straight Classic championship

Omaha Creighton Preps won its third straight Upper Midwest Classic American Legion baseball title Sunday at New Ulm. There were 20 teams entered in the tournament.

Creighton defeated's 7-2 win over Eastview followed a semifinal win over Las Vegas, NV 3-2. All three runs came in the last of the 7th.

Eastview beat Mankato Nationals 17-3 in the other semi-final game.
