Division leading Lamberton and Hanska picked up Tomahawk League East victories this weekend. Hanska edged St. James 6-5 and beat Gibbon 13-4 in a makeup game Saturday to run its victory total to 11 and a three and a half game leade in the National division. In the American, Lamberton beat Redwood Falls 6-0 in one of the three shut outs. It was Lamberton's 10th win. New Ulm Brewers blanked Leavenworth 2-0 while Springfield took Essig 10-0. Searles and Stark were rained out. This week's feature game finds Lamberton at St. James in a battle of two of the three division's leaders. Games are scheduled Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as playoff positioning becomes more important.
