New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Milroy's 5-0 victory over Sacred Heart Sunday established the 9C champion and runner-up roles and finalized pairings for the Region 2C Lamberton and Hanska teams. Lamberton, as 2C champion faces 9C runner-up Sacred Heart at 11 a.m. Sat., Aug. 22. Hanska as 2C runner-up faces 9C champion Milroy at 1:30 p.m. Both games are scheduled at Gaylord.

Region 2C teams were allowed to take an additional draftee as a carrot from the regional championship game. Lamberton with the first choice selected Andy Cook of Leavenworth from Stark's roster. Hanska took Josh Hadley from Stark.

Arlington qualified for the tournament with runner-up honors in 6C but did lose the championship game to Loretto 6-0.
