BULLHEADS WIN, PLAY AGAIN TONIGHT AT UNION HILL

BELLE PLAINE - Pitcher Terry Steinbach led the Hanska Bullheads to an 8-2 victory over the Menahga-Sebeka Relics Saturday afternoon in round one of the MSMABA state tournament played in Belle Plaine. Steinbach pitched the win and drove in four runs with a single and a three-run homer. He scattered 7 hits and fanned six Relic hitters in sixinnings. Closer Kyle Messner struck out two in the final frame.
Dave Fauth and Brian Sieve each had two hit ss for Hanska. Sieve had a solo home run in the fifth. John Giefer, Dan Erdman, and Doug Ekstrom also drove in runs for the Bullheads.
The Bullheads' second round game will be played in Union Hill Sunday evening at 6 p.m. vs. the winner of the Perham-Eden Prairie round one game.
