MLC LOSES TO HAMLINE 34-0

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The MLC football team fell behind big in the first half and were never able to recover in a
34-0 loss at Hamline Saturday.
The Knight offense struggled throughout, totaling 115 yards for the game. Quarterback Greg Holzhueter and the
MLC passing attack could never get on track, as he completed two of his 18 attempts in the game for 17 yards and
was sacked three times.
On the ground, the Knights were held to 98 yards, and suffered 70 yards in losses behind the line of scrimmage.
Aaron Voss led MLC with 31 yards rushing.
Hamline took a 24-0 lead into halftime on the strength of the big play, scoring three times on plays over 20 yards in
the half. For the game, Hamline totaled 445 yards of offense, including 190 yards on the ground. Quarterback
Aaron Meyer added 236 yards passing and three touchdowns while completing 19 of his 30 attempts.
Defensively, the Knights were led by Chuqee Fletcher, who had 10 total tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack,
while Jacob Rothe had five tackles and two sacks.
With the loss, the Knights dropped to 1-1.The Knights will play next at Eureka for a kick-off at 2 p.m.
