TOMAHAWK DIG PINK CONTINUES TOWARDS $10,000 G0AL

MVL of New Ulm and St. Mary's of Sleepy Eye hope to give the Tomahawk Conference a boost Tuesday night in its Side Out Foundation Dig Pink campaign for breast cancer awareness.

The two teams originated the program last year in a game at Sleepy eye with the rest of the conference joining in this season in an attempt to raise $10,000. The conference is about $3,500 short of its goal going into the last two weeks of the season.

At MVL tonight C squad games start the festivities at 5 p.m. with JV and varsity following. Silent acutions should be up and running by 5:15 p.m. and open until last bids will be accepted at 7:30. A serving contest will be initiated between varsity matches two and three. A donation jar will be available at the door. Items for the silent auction may be donated Tuesday night or at remaining games or via the internet site https://www.sideout.org/application/teams/team_page/1218 or directly to MVL coach Julie Detjen at jdetjen@newulmtel.net.
