CATHEDRAL MOVES PAST SPRINGFIELD 27-14 TO GAIN STATE

New Ulm Cathedral ran its unbeaten string to 12 games and qualified for the out-state first round of the Minnesota Class A football championships Saturday. The Greyhounds beat Springfield 27-14 and now will meet Blooming Prairie at Rochester Saturday May 14. The winner goes to the Metrodome playoffs.
