Heather Danell, 6-0 junior middle hitter, has established a new "kill" record for MVL according to year-end statistics.
She had 372 by combining "attack kills" and "tip Kills" to create the new school record. attacks and tips are no longer separated. Her total of 477 career kills places her third on the all-time MVL list behind recent graduates Amanda Burk and Kara Black. Teammate Miranda Maasz is also set to put her name into the record books next season in categories of set assists, service points and services aces.
