New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Members of the Hanska Bullheads Senior baseball team and former New Ulm area players, were members of the second place team in the Roy Hobbs World Series in the Over 38 masters division. They were members of the The Minnesota HBK Oilers playing this past weekend in a tournament of 54 teams and finished with a 9-2 record.

New Ulm area members of the team included Hanska Bullhead palyers Bruce Jacobs, Dave Fauth, Tom Steinbach and Randy Arbruster. The Oilers won their first seven games before losing to Pittsburgh 8-6 Friday. Saturday the Oilers beat Pittsburgh Saturday, then lost 2-0 in the championship game to Pittsburgh.
