CATHEDRAL B TEAM SALVAGES LECENTER TOURNAMENT

LE CENTER - The Boys' B team Friday scored Cathedral's only win in the LeCenter season opener tournament and will meet LeCenter for the B team championship today at 6:30. Cathedral edged Wellcome-Elysian-Morristown 39-35. It was WEM's first boys' and girls' game loss in the tournament. LeCenter B team won 50-38 over Buffalo Lake-Hector.
Cathedral's varsity plays LeCenter at 5 p.m. for third place while W-EM and Buffalo Lake-Hector match up for the boys' title at 6:30. Buffalo Lake-Hector topped the host Le Center team 32-36 as Cathedral's varsity fell to W-EM 66-53.
