BULLHEADS NOW IN SEARLES, OPEN MAY 8

The Hanska Bullheads senior baseball team will switch their home park to Searles this year and open with a non-conference game May 8.

The 3 p.m. game will be against Burnsville Bulldogs in a non-conference Senior men's 35+ baseball contest.
Besides a new home field, the Bullheads welcome some new players to their team this season, among them are former New Ulm Brewer Scott Schaefer, and former Sibley East High School standout Marc Max.
The MSMABA conference season will begin Friday evening, June 4th at Gaylord vs Eden Prairie Lion's Tap. This game will pit the two Max brothers against each other as Marc's brother (WCCO's Mike Max) is a member of that team.

Schaefer recently was nominated for New Ulm's baseball Hall of Fame as only the second player who still is playing under a provision which inducted Bullhead's teammate Tom Steinbach before he was out of baseball for 10 years.
