SWEEP PUTS CATHEDRAL AT TOP OF MINNESOTA

New Ulm Cathedral's doubleheader win over Sleepy Eye St. Mary's at Stark Thursday night created a school milestone

for the last five-plus years of Minnesota high school baseball.

The Greyhounds racked up their 110th and 111th wins since Minnesota Scores started keeping records in 2005.
That gave the 'hounds one more win than St. Mary's in the same period and upped their winning percentage to .805 which is the second best in Minnesota now. St. Anthony has .811 and also has 111 wins. Its' single loss this year was to New Ulm High School. Rochester John Marshall (107) and La Crescent (101) are other 100 game winners. Cretin-Durham Hall (95) could be at that level but has reported only one score so far this year.
