MAKE ROOM BOYS, CATHEDRAL GIRLS ARE #2, TOO

With rain-outs Friday and Saturday having some impact, the state's best softball records find the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds in second place

in winning percentage for softball. Sports Central's review of the records posted by Minnesota_Scores for results since 2005 gives the Greyhounds 117 wins in 134 games for an .874 record. Mankato West still leads with .879.

Hermantown (121-19) has won the most games but is only third in the percentage ranks. Zumbrota-Mazeppa is 118-28 .809. Percentages change little when over 100 games are played.
