New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

New Ulm Cathedral (11-0 prior to Thursday's game with Buffalo Lake-Hector) meets Robbinsdale Armstrong in the first round of the Loyola baseball tournament Saturday.

Armstrong has a 4-3 record going into a Friday game with Hopkins. It has defeated Hibbing, DeLaSalle, Hopkins and Minnetonka while losing to spring Lake Park, Hill-Murray and Wayzata. Games with Edina and St. Paul Park apparently were rained out.

Host Loyola plays St. Clair and 9 a.m. with Cathedral/Robbinsdale scheduled for 11:15. Third place game is 12:30 with the championship set for 3:35. All games are at Franklin Rogers Field.
