CATHEDRAL LOSES FIRST, PLAYS FOR CONSOLATION TITLE FRIDAY A.M.

MANKATO --- New Ulm Cathedral goes after the consolation title for the Minnesota State High School League softball championship with a 9 a.m. game Friday a.m. to decide the winner. Cathedral advanced to the consolation game by beating Blooming Prairie 4-3 after suffering a 7-0 loss at the hands of Barnum earlier in a rain-delayed contest.
