Cathedral girl's softball coach Bob Mertz was named Tomahawk conference coach of the year in an announcement Tuesday. Mertz guided Cathedral to its 11th state tournament appearance this year.

Catehdral landed four selections on the all-conference squad including Kasey Bode, Morgan Zollner, Amy Eckstein and Kari Berg. MVL players named were Mashaye Wilson and Andrea Biedenbender.

Honorable mentions went to Paige Pautzke and Taylor Moldan of Cathedral and Emily Wessel of MVL.
