TWIN CITIES -- New Ulm Gold fell 11-2 to Edina in the opening round of the 48-team Gopher Classic Amercian Legion tournament Friday night.

Gold plays Rochester A's at 2:30 and Napolean, OH at 5 p.m. today in pool play and Sunday will meet Fargo and Gillette, WY. Gillette split games Friday while Rochester won a pair. Fargo lost both games while Edina stands 1-1 and Nopolean 1-0.
