New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

New Ulm Kaiserhoff and Hanska, the area's lone entrants in Class B baseball this year, were left at the alter as Marshall and Mankato scored Friday night wins to both qualify for the state tournament.

The Mankato Twins blanked Hanska 10-0 while Marshall scored a 5-1 win over Kaiserhoff. Hanska was mandated into Class B this year because of it's runner-up status in the 2009 state amateur tournament.

The best-of-three championship series starts Wednesday at Mankato when the Twins(19-2) meet Marshall.
