JACKSONVILLE, IL. -- New Ulm's Kyle Fischer pitched his second win of the spring season as the St. Cloud State beat Minnesota Crookston 9-1 here Friday. The neutral site game was part of the Huskys' spring break trip.

Fischer (2-0) pitched the first five innings, giving up a lone single and striking out five.

Saturday Morning St. Cloud shelled Crookston 23-1. Garrett Fischer played right field and banged out a double and two singles, drove in two runs, walked once and stole a base according to the box score. The press release from the game didn't mention his performance as the Husky's had a big day at the plate.
