New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

MADISON - Lakeside Lutheran, coached by Jim Bauer, qualified for the Wisconsin State Tournament (Division III) Saturday afternoon with a 56-42 win at Middleton, near Lacrosse. It is his first trip to the state in Wisconsin and will face Lacrosse Aquinas Friday, March 18 in Madison.

His father passed away Friday after surgery.

Bauer's team won its 26th game and has now won 19 or more five years since 2003. His current team includes 10 players 6-3 or more. It opened with a 24-5 lead.
