The St. Cloud State University baseball team (10-2) moved up two spots in the latest National College Baseball Writers Association Division II national poll released on March 22. The Huskies now rank at #8 in the recent NCBWA poll, after earning a #10 ranking last week. This marks the highest ranking for the Huskies in the national polls this season. Kyle and Garrett Fischer, NUHS, have played most of the games this season. Kyle has a 3-0 pitching record. NUHS senior Zach Hoffmann will join the squad next fall.
SCSU also maintained its top 25 national status in the other two Division II polls this week. In the Collegiate Baseball poll, the Huskies ranked #25. In the College Baseball Lineup Division II national poll, SCSU remained #21 position on that website's top 30.
