FISCHERS, VAN ROEKEL MEET AT ST. CLOUD

Former New Ulm athletes held a three-party reunion at St. Cloud April 8 when the Huskies played the Warriors of Winona State in baseball.

Nick Van Roeckel, starting infielder for Winona, is centered between Fischer twins Garrett and Kyle Fischer as they talk things over before the weekend series. Garrett played right field for St. Cloud. Kyle was scheduled to pitch Saturday (he is 5-0) but was scratched because of an injury. Thanks to Rob Bute for the photo.
