MLC SENIOR SETS UMAC JAVELIN RECORD

MORRIS - Martin Luther College senior Andrew Loescher set a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference record with in the javelin with a throw of 59.18 meters at the UMAC Track and Field Championship on the campus of Minnesota-Morris Saturday.

The toss also automatically qualified Loescher for the national meet. He also was awarded UMAC Field Athlete of the Yearl.
