New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Opening games for southern sub-districts in the VFW District 2 baseball tournament have been set for Thursday, July 21 at Hanska and Fairmont.

At Hanska, the line-up includes Dassel vs Springfield at 1 p.m., Hutchinson 1 against Sleepy Eye at 4 p.m. and New Ulm Gold vs Glencoe at 7 p.m. At Fairmont Lake Crystal vs St. James at noon , New Ulm Jr. Legion vs Blue Earth at 3 p.m. and Fairmont vs Mapleton at 6 p.m. Northern tier districts include tournaments at Shakopee and South St. Paul. Those pairings have not been announced.
