New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Pounding New Ulm pitching for 17 hits, Mankato National took an 11-5 win over New Ulm Gold to force a second and deciding championship game at Johnson Park in New Ulm Saturday afternoon. The final game of the tournament was to start about 3 p.m.

New Ulm made three errors and left 11 men stranded and held a 5-3 lead after three innings before Mankato scored three time sin the fourth, one in the fifth and added a final four runs in the eighth inning.
