Bullheads left hander Kevin Hulke threw a five hit shut out at the Bloomington Eagles, fanning four and walking none in the complete game 5-0 victory. Hulke and catcher Myron Seidl worked in sync to frustrate the Bloomington hitters all afternoon.
John Giefer, Marc Max, and Doug Ekstrom led the Bullheads 11-hit offensive with multi-hit games. Mike Marquardt's two-run first inning homer set the tone for the game. Scott McNally lost while going the distance for Bloomington. He struck out four and allowed just one free pass.
Wednesday night the Bullheads (8-5) travel to Veseli to take on the Vulcans in an 8 p.m. game.
