New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

River Valley League west playoffs head into the final two games Friday and Saturday.

The playoffs are sans New Ulm Kaiserhoff which was moved to Class B due to a league rule infraction. New Ulm has withdrawn a legal action against the Minnesota State board and will participate in the Region 3B tournament with a first game against Victoria, another River Valley team wtih B status.

Fairfax has reached the finals of the double elimination tournament after wins over Winthrop and St. Peter. Winthrop plays St. Peter Friday at Winthrop with the winner advancing against Fairfax Saturday.

Fairfax had been seeded first, St. Peter second, Gaylord third and Winthrop fourth.
