Amateur baseball playoffs in the three-division Tomahawk League (and subsequent 2C Regional) open Friday with combinations of best-of-three and double eliminations.

In the American division, Friday night's games feature No. 4 Essig at #1 Lamberton and #3 Leavenworth at #2 Springfield. Game sites reverse Sunday

National has #4 Redwood Falls at #1 Hanska and #3 Searles at No. 2 Stark Friday with game sites reversing Sunday.

The Patriot Division, sans the Class B New Ulm Brewers, play a three-team double elimination. Friday #3 Gibbon is at #2 St. James. Saturday the winner plays at #1 Sleepy Eye. Sunday the two losers play at a time and location to be decided. Other games will be Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
