BULLHEADS CLIMB OVER UNION HILL 10-3

SEARLES - Good pitching and timely hitting are usually a winning combination and the Searles Bullheads used that formula to defeat the visiting Union Hill Pit-bulls 10-3 Tuesday night.

Bullheads' pitcher Kevin Hulke struck out seven and allowed just two earned runs on six hits. His offense scored in every inning except the first. Searles hitters came through with the big two out hits off losing pitcher Sean O'Neil twice late in the game to seal the win.

Troy Kamm led the Bullheads offense with a pair of doubles and four runs-batted-in. Corey Schaefer, Todd Olson, and Brian Sieve had two-hit games. Hulke helped his own cause with a two-run double. Steve Meyer contributed a two run single.

The Bullheads (12-6) host division leading Belle Plaine Thursday night at 8:00PM.
