New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Martin Luther College women's basketball is on the way to NCAA (III) regional playoffs after rolling past Minnesota-Morris 69-63 at New Ulm Saturday night (Feb. 25, 2012). Monday it was paired into a region at St. Thomas while Coe plays UW-River Falls in the other game. Game times were not announced other than it will be played Friday, March 1.

The Lady Knights had earned the home game as the high seed based on a tie for regular-season first place and eventually win of a coin flip to determine a champion when all tie-breakers continued to place the teams in a tie.
