New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

The newly produced history of the former 212 Conference has been added to the Sports Links of New Ulm Sports Central.

The Conference was formed in 1947 and was a familiar sports alignment for the schools along the highway 212 layout. In the 1950 and 1960 era, it was covered extensively by the New Ulm Journal under the direction of sports editors Herb Schaper and Don Brand. Ty Wacker did the research and initiated the site.

The NUSC historic file has preserved many photos of the teams and individuals involved, especially of the eastern side of the conference and the championship teams of the western alignment. Most have some index arrangements.
