State Baseball Touranment Pairings in Printable Format

Pairings for the area's baseball teams who have qualified for the state amateur tournament at St. Cloud are complete and attached to this story for printing if you wish your own copy.

Of the four Tomahawk East League teams, only high seed Lamberton received the "champion's" first round bye and awaits a winner of a preliminary game. New Ulm Brewers, Leavenworth and Stark all need to play-in against other league representatives.

Stark will play Waconia in one of the opening games Friday against 7B Waconia at Faber Field at 5:30 p.m. The winner faces Fergus Falls the following week.

New Ulm opposes Maple Lake at 11 a.m. Saturday at Putz field with Stewartville-Racine waiting the winner.

Lamberton rests until Sunday. Aug. 26 while Avon meets Young America this Saturday.

bird Island plays this Saturday against Ada. Leavenworth meets Belle Plaine Sunday at Faber field with the winner going against New London-Spicer the following week.

Tiebreaker game between Stark and New Ulm to determine the #2 and #3 seeds from Region 2C was cancelled due to inclement weather. New Ulm will be the Region 2C Runner Up and Stark will be the #3 seed from Region 2C due to the fact New Ulm beat Stark head-to-head earlier in the Region 2C Tournament.
