ST. PAUL - MLC safety Galen Holzhueter was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday for his performance in the football team's 41-14 win over Crown last weekend.

Holzhueter finished with ten tackles, three pass break-ups, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in the game, leading a defensive effort that held the Storm scoreless through the middle of the third quarter, allowing the offense to build a 34-0 lead.

With the win, Holzhueter and Knights finished the season 4-6 overall, and 2-6 in UMAC play.
